Shatha Yas is a comedian, writer, and VO actor. NYC-based and raised in Palestine.

Shatha can be seen performing standup comedy and writing and producing comedy and TV content all over the world (in Arabic and English). Shatha grew up in the West Bank and worked in foreign policy for several years, so she knows too many depressing things about the world. She likes to joke about politics and social issues.

Shatha was a top ten finalist for the 2024 ATX TV Pitch Competition and a 2022 Yes And... Laughter Lab (YALL) finalist.

She’s studied screenwriting, improv, sketch comedy, acting, and voiceover. She currently produces Boozy Books Comedy in NYC!
